Default OP COM keyless Astra H learning new CIM

[COLOR=var(--primary-text)]Looking for some advice with coding on an Astra H keyless start.

Suspected faulty CIM module, so iv got a second hand one with same part number. iv got the pin code to reset it and it accepts it. Plugged opcom in and reset cim, but cannot get the original vehicle pin wrote into it because i have no way of getting the ignition to turn on to get communication with the ecu.

Learning reset CIM into the vehicle by resetting it, then choosing installed new cim in the immo option under cim module.

I usually reset all modules then go into bcm and it learns it all in together, but its giving me an error and saying original pins wrong/timeout error, but im assuming that’s because theres no ignition on.

Pin code is definitely right as the radio accepts it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Hi Dayo,
On Fords with keyless I know to program a kvm (keyless module) you have to bridge the Ignition Relay, perhaps the same on Vauxhall, also where did you get original pin from as a lot of later models radio code is the carpass but not always the case.
Read 35080 in clock cluster to confirm correct pin.
