If unsolder s3c2440a you can see it pin.
But this pin i think in 20pin usb connektor and diagnostic
pin on board.

and can you tell me what is diagnostic pin used for??? boot mode?

FOR INFO ONLY! I select format and died bootloader.
For connect com port and If USB died:
1.connect on USB-COM adapter from old mobile tel on chip PL2303(or another) pin1
to pin12 chip sp3232 in Diaun ,pin5 pl2303 on pin11 sp3232,GND-GND,install driver PL2303.
2.connect USB-COM adapter in PC.
3.Click Start Control Panel System. Inside System Properties, click on
Device Manager. Double-click on Ports (COM & LPT1). You should see the
Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port -Double-click-install N com port set 1-4
4.open HyperTerminal (Start > Programs > Accessories > Communications and select Hyperterminal and double-click Hypertrm.exe.)
5.Type a name for the connection into the Name,OK
6.Select the N COM Port-Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port
7.Select 115200 for the Bits per second. Leave Data 8 bits, Parity No, Stop bits 1 and Flow control No
8.ON Diagun.IN windows HyperTerminal you see menu BOOTLOADER!!!For update click space in pc or reset in Diagun.
9.For restore USB- connect USB cable Diagun and click U in HyperTerminal on menu bootloader.
10.In PC-new USB device.Driver in folder DNW5,USB driver.
11.Close HyperTerminal and open dnw5.exe,in configuration-option set com port.
12.Also you must using SiRFSoCMgr_v6.1.5. with com port.

Yes.JTAG must only if died bootloader.
Boot mode you can with com or usb .Open SiRFSoCMgr_v6.1.5.
When USB-need driver USB in folder SiRFSoCMgr .
Or HyperTerminal with com port.

Where are locations on smart box for RST, VCC, VDD, i have original i will try and help but i need instruction.

I see on your Jtag you have RST but i not see pin location.

I have ordered USB ARM JTAG adapter ARM7/9 Cortex debug for Keil Ulink on eBay (end time 05-Feb-11 21:58:53 GMT)

i hope it will work for testing.

I use resistor adapter with LPT port !!! L cable<20sm!!!
