Can Flash be read directly on pins too?

unfortunately, smok is very expensive, i doubt i could convince him to buy one just for one car ...

BSI successfully cloned Flash + eeprom.
Everything works correctly.

Diagbox however now shows a VIN of VF00000000000 on error read print.
(The VIN at the start of connecting is correct though, probably read from ECU)

Anyone had this too?

why can't the eeprom be read directly with simple reader? maybe upa

and then read the flash from the mcu too.

Why 95128 could not be read i dont know. Maybe must be desoldered.

The solutions for reading through connector sockets pins are nicer anyway.

But even though EEProm and flash were copied, even read again to make sure they were perfectly copied, i wonder why VIN is zero for BSI.

Then again everything is working ...

i have bsi OUT without stickers on side but need cloning it

anybody test read bsi on bench using smok ?

when you say read flash with upa, have you tested it ?

i am waiting for reception this bsi, so i am looking for info, i never clone bsi without car or without sticker on bsi, good challenge
