Unhappy lost channels on Eurovox Teesside

    Hi guys (and galls)

I'm a brand new poster on the forum so forgive me if I'm asking a dumb question - I've looked at the posts already there and can't come up with a definitive answer to my query, so here goes...

I lost some channels on my Eurovox in Teeside yesterday...but found some posts which fixed it (thanks to Smoggy for that) but today have lost more channels (Premiere, +1 and Disney I've noticed so far) with the 'Signal Scrambled' message - which is different to yesterday's 'bad or no signal' problem. Can I fix this by scanning the right frequencies as I did yesterday (and if so what are the frequencies?) or does it require another solution?

Please help! The kids might explode if they've lost Disney

Also, I keep heairng rumours of an impending apocalypse for Eurovox viewers as Virgin plan some clever but nefarious way of stopping them receiving. Is this true?

re scan the box ,download the CDF file from the downloads and use Voxer to transfer the channel data file to your eurovox and that will restore any missing channels and also rescan will solve your bad or scrambled issue you having at the moment

Also yes VM are changing there stream encryption to N3

    All boxes are doomed.

Ireland have a server setup and the new SV6 is up and running there on N3. Seeing as am not allowed to talk about it... I wont say no more.

Thumbs up not allowed to talk about it?

How come we (or you) ain't allowed to discuss it? Surely how VM is changing it's encryption to prevent illegal viewing is a benign subject?

My guess is it won't take long for someone to again crack the encryption method and bring out a new box that still works, though.

those channels are on frequency 659.00

its not obligatory but it is best to do a factory default reset first to remove all the dead channels and then powerscan

Thanks Smoggy....manually searching the freqeuncy found the channels (the frequency had changed since yesterday) and I just swapped the old ones out with thenew ones in Favourites. I hope this is the last....looks like VM could be doing this just to anoy people! Where do you find the frequencies? If you're the one having to do a full reset and scan again to find them then thanks for doing that and saving others the bother. You're a star.
