hi, did you check obd to clip cable with multimeter? i would start there if you can reconnect
if it's not cable, then open interface and resolder the round conector pins to clip board

I have the same problem and i dont know how repair this... i resolder all pcb and change quartz no result help please!

I have a second problem with the clip on. The update stops at 20% .Wine is a plate with a USB plug
I have no idea because I've already done:
Soldering, Replaced in the new 32,768,
I replaced with new ones and programmed 29F800
I programmed a new 24LC01
What else can I do? All ideas are welcome.

There is CPLD that might be important as well... but to be honest ... nobody know exactly what are all the reasons for 20% update problem.

If hardware fault you always get error this think is normal.

Before replaicing all parts did you check any voltages on components?

Please look at this picture,is normal for AN2131QC to have pins shorten like that?
Of course now problems: ISO green light off and when I look inside find this but CLIP worked fine before only problem no automatic VIN detected,but now no sonde detected

That pin 24 EA :

External Access. If this signal is active (high), the
8051 fetches code from external memory instead of
the internal program RAM. If EA=0, the 8051
fetches code from external memory starting at
0x1B40 (AN2131).

So it's ok to be connected to GND (pin 23) as you don't want AN2131QC to run code from outside.

That join of pin 39 and 40 is not needed.... and it looks like a mistake (a drop of solder).

Anyone able to repair my clip if i send to them , ? no comms from usb, no leds, dead unit, worked fine then no usb comms, its a china clone, cheaper to send E.u repair, anyone ? willing to pay,,,,
