then you have bad clone. if you buy good clone or original xprog m you will have no problem.

I have no pictures of my adapter but i used good coax cable around 15cm and a simple connector that fits on the 9s12/micronas pcb.

i thought only mine makes this kind of driblling
anyway, i teste it on a golf 5 dashbord, with cdc3272 on it, xprog read/writes oki, but the dashbord module doesnt know to read out pin and km from it; xprog has this type of micronas only on skoda and caddy, and the readings are mabojambo, different encrition or location, i dont realy know.

the good news is that he reads!

    Hi all, Hi Exe

    Thanks for this instructive thread.
I just would like to know if I can swap my golfv tacho with xprog-m ?

Simply by cloning Chassis number (VIN), serial number, login code and km fields from old to new cluster.

    Thanks for your help.

    regards,
    Bal.

no, you cannot. if you send eeprom + micronas content of both dashs I can clone it.

My XProgM v5.0 works fine with Octavia 2007. Connection like description, but power leads like in the picture below.
    Read/write - OK
Read PIN, VIN, S/N - OK

    Micronas CDC3297G secured
