    Default X-prog m & Golf V Micronas problem

Hello guys,my problem is for those who has an original Xprog-m programmer.Last days I have a dash VDO from a Golf V 2008,inside with a micronas 3297G and my programmer could not read/write the data inside chip,it's show an error "Device ID does not match,ID is 0x 000122B9".Someone has this problem before?an how it can be done?
    Thank you.

Never had this problem, but seems like you have a rare CPU ID.
you should request TMT to implement or download latest software.

in the latest update from TMT is not specified any new resources regarding Golf V,only Caddy 2006,I sent them a few mails, they answer me but they are telling me to check connections,or the programmer start to read, bypass security bytes and then after 13 seconds, show that error with Device id...I'll expect news from them now...

trying to find any ERRATA for CPU ID change, but micronas is not open with datasheets.

Im sure its an ID change and not a change in Jtag security.
Do you have a rosfar R250?

    No,
but maybe this one is implemented in rosfar.

Xprog is a great tool, but you should know that in this business we always need more tools for same job.

the fact is that buying clones, you don't expext much from them,so you can not be mad if the tool don't do that or this, but when you payd several hundred euros on one tool,it must override expectations.

m8 if you have a problem just open your own thread, or talk here only if you have the same problem...
