    Default Audi TT Mileage Issue

Had a customer in that has used VAGTacho and locked his dashboard out to 999999 due to it doesnt' checksum properly.

    How can I correct this?

Does the processor need to be removed in full for this or any other ideas?

    Appreciate any help here.

Let me guess a M73 cluster, try to disconnect battery for 1 hour, connect again. If it's still 9999999 then you need a good cluster dump for your car. crc error indeed.

No vagtacho, use magic Dash CAN, but personally I prefer to take this cluster out, backup dump and edit. Expensive cluster :-).

Best tool for RB4 and RB8 is Dialab Dejavue. No need to take out the dash

    Hi,

How do I go about making a backup dump of the cluster once it is out?
What would I need to do this?

    Sorry for the n00b questions!!
