new vag cars with vag dash prog

HI,
does any body know for sure if vag dash prog can adjust the odometer of new vag cars 2009(skoda,passat,...)with (NEC+24c32)?I asked smelecom and they told me that this tool can do these cars but i got some feedback from some friends and they say that vag dash prog can not adjust these cars.
Did anybody tested this tool on these cars?plese inform.

Hi,
no i am talking about the new 2009 vag cars.
the dash has (NEC processor + 24c32)

bit of mixed bag with the vag dash prog on these models i know2 people who have done a golf 6 nec with the service mode and 1 guy who ~~~~ed a dash and had to get a new cluster and code sync from the vw dealers..

personally i aviod doing these untill smelecom sort the bugs out

got this machine was told it can do the audi a8 and other but failed to deliver. had problems doing even the earlier a3 2004-2006.

yes i have try audi A3 2005 dont work but i have make audi TT 2000 work after prograling need disconect battery for stars car

Smelecom has a new marketing strategy (VAG PROG SMELECOM), pay more for less :-), options 123456789....... :-)

yeah i see they are launching new hardware for the vag dash prog..but a lot more expensive ....glad i still have my old one with every model included .......

i wont be updating either as i feel there maybe a wee problem with your original kit after that ......check out new price

I have had mine for 6/7 months, and it has not failed yet (pretty sure it will - always make sure cust knows and that ecu and svc are adjusted 1st)

The point re: old A3 not work, that should be working if advertised, but the whole point of this unit is for the modern Micronas/NEC code secured cars. I wouldnt expect it to cover a 1996 polo - but there again, I have been doing those for years with hardware bought at the time..!

Maybe I have just been lucky, it has done every job I needed it to, svc mode sometimes, pull cluster fuse sometimes and sometimes try 2 or 3 times - but in the end it worked.
