You need to chip it. A custom chip inside.

    Infectus MOdchip it is.

Google it and have a read up on it.

If you really want to play some American and Japanese games on your box you will need it chipped. There is a few titles avaliable that will never hit the uk.

Friend of mine chipped his as he is from Macau and loved all the japanese titles etc.

He also has his drive flashed. So basically his console plays anygame from anywhere in the world. He has over 300 titles now.

There should be a way to edit the iso now that i think about it.

Editing the region flag and setting the pal50 flag to "no" should work, ive never tried it however cause ive never came across a disk i couldnt play.

Id imagine it would be slightly more complicated with having to manualy edit jitter and crc's to match but it should be possible.

You need a Jtaged console running XBR or FreeBoot.
There is no way to run different region locked games without modifying the 360s keyvault/nand.

But most games are region free, meaning you can boot NTSC/J games, there is no real difference in the games, its up to the developers to lock em or not.
