bad connections when programming
IMG_20181013_092054.jpgIMG_20181013_092156.jpgIMG_20181013_092214.jpgHi friends. I have a problem with my cable. This is 11.11 version with atmega chip. I reflashed atmega chip, all was fine. Then One day Led not light up, and can't connect with car. With ftdi all is ok, I check with mprog. When try program atmega with programmer, they say - chip enable program error. I buy new Chinese atmega. Solder it to cable, but problem still persist. All time - chip enable program error. Where can I find problem? After changing atmega Led light still not comes on.
Maybe someone Can help

bad connections when programming
Please do not mislead people.
He has soldered correctly!
I can calculate ABS module codings for:
* Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
* TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
* MK100;
* Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
* EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
* ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

Dear testers,
I would like to ask for your assistance testing/debugging v18.9.0 + v7.0 Loader.
For those who have bench setup, please do the following:
Go to any module (e.g. Engine), select Advanced Measuring Values, then tick a few and leave in that stage running for like up to 2 hours.
Does it work normally? Any communciation errors obseved?
Also, do you experience the program freezing at any time, when exiting modules or going back to main screen?
Please share you experience, testing input is much appreciated.
Thank you.

It does not work properly on cars after 2010.Abs mk60ec1 long coding not working. Again I returned 17.8.1+V6.3 Loader. No version 18x.x is working properly.

portugues/italian/spanish vcds18.9.0
I've used the advanced measuring values for 20min. and coding the gateway on my airbag+gateway testbench using my vag178 and hex-v2 interface with kolimer v7.
Everything seems to work just fine with vcds drv 17.1.3, 18.2.0 and 18.9.0 but at the moment I don't have a VAG-car available for a real world test.

Problem is that 20 minutes is not enough... If possible, I'd suggest trying to keep it open for longer

Do you suspect the existence of a 2-hour counter?
Yes, I suspect either a random counter (like they have added in 18.2.0) or some kind of other mystery.
To me it shows comm errors when in Adv. Measuring values (and a few vlaues selected to monitor) and left idling for extended periods of time.
Also, I have noticed a few times that the values were shifted, e.g. Engine Load, which is supposed to be in % was showing Centigrades in that field.
In addition to that, I experience the program freeze after going into some modules and then getting back to the main screen.

And this freezing after 2 hours? Or is randomly from 2 mins to xyz?
Freezing occurs randomly from 2 mins to xyz.
I think it depends on how many things I check and how many modules I visit back and forth.

I did update a cable with 18.9 and run some tests (read module, erase 7 DTCs) on VAG car for about 10 minutes, all ok. I do not know if it has a time counter but it is "something" that keeps recording history log inside the cable.....
Because, with the same cable I did that - I installed software on another laptop( Not the one I used to run test on the car) with cable power on 12v ,not conected to car- Options- Test- K1 K2 OK, Can-Not ready!-I was checking About- Registered and below I see DTC CLEARED-7!!!! although this laptop was not used ever for diagnose.
So, this logs are stored inside the cable and it is "normal" that after a few hours off use the information amount will keep grow and the programm will freeze.... I am wrong with this theory?

Yes, you are right!
You will be surprised how many things it stores in EEPROM. DTC clear count, coding attempts, adaptations, etc.
Even once you connect the cable to OBD2 and the red/green light illuminates, it increases one value in EEPROM by a number of 2!
