    I have the same (16.8.4) and easily upgraded to 18.9.0 EN and 18.9.0 AKP. Works well.

    Hello people my HEX V2 is after I forgot my Antivir software to deinstalieren, like dead :-(
    is no longer recognized in the usb port no matter which PC I take!
    Is there a good way to bring it back to life?

    Moffo - Just place vcdsloader.exe in RT/vcds directory after disabling AV and off you go again. At worst reflash and start all over. Assuming it's an obd2tool device that is.

    thanks first for the answer, I have the feeling I have to rewrite it if it is feasible, so the interface itself. Has anyone experience in things rewriting Hex V2 reperatures? I am very grateful for help!

    Just got my VCDS from obd2cartool.com, works perfectly fine and seems to even come with a cable for flashing(?). I own an Audi A3 8PA 1.6l from 2010 (0588 AHU001238). My service interval indicator has been bugging me for some time and I want to reset it. I don't know if I'm on that fixed interval or the other one and the VCDS offers lots of different modes to reset, some are labelled "US only" or "worldwide" (my car was bought in Germany). This is what I get from the reset diagnostics: https://bpaste.net/show/803b778de5ea What should I choose exactly to reset the service indicator? Am I on a fixed interval or whatever the other thing was? Thank you

    Moffo - This is exactly like mine with atmega. Probably from obd2tool. Bootloader is unlocked. Connect to car obd port to supply 12v to device. Then flash via usb using EEwrite file within Kolimer 7.1 zip

    Kolimer v7.1 worked just fine for me, i found this tread during the week because my cable didn't allowed me for long coding. Turned out it was an atmega with bootloader unable so i flashed it and reinstalled original vcds 18.9 from ross tech directly, then updated interface to 1.96 like vcds asked. Voila, long coding works just fine right now! All the information are in the info.pdf file included into the zip. Thank you so much kolimer for this work, its well appreciated!

    Unfortunately, this does not work, have tried everything with the programs connected to the car obd eewrite prog HW ident prog and vcds loader, unfortunately, no comunication with the interface always vcds not found :-( What possibilities do I have yet usbprogram flash?
