    Hello,

I'm looking for a person who will unlock me the VCDS software and make me a installation file. I have my own dump which have to be attuned to this software. Details on private. If it will be working I can pay.

igorm i suppose that you are gospodar from carhelp, it is good that you started this tread even though it is deja vu for another tread called "vcds upgrading and programing" which existed before.

Hello everyone, this is a good thread great actually

I need little help. I have VCDS 805.0
My interface is broken (garage accident - I ran over over it with my car)
I have other one which is universal. I bought it from ebay and using it for ecuscan, but VCDS do not recognize it. Is there any chance or small possibility to make it work with VCDS?
I mostly need diagnostic for AIR-Conditioning because that is what I do.
Is there any driver that will work with it and will it be able to scan VW TDI from 2000 - 2005?
    Thanks in advance

I'm also looking for the tutorial how to program the cable. I have 805 version, it was working before and now it asks to register software.

Some time ago this tutorial was on DK but it looks like it was removed. Maybe someone still have it and can share.

    thanks in advance.

This interface that I have is a multi protocol.
I think there must be a way to for VCDS to recognize it.
VCDS says that port status is OK but the interface is not recognized.
Is there any clone interface that will work so I can order it from ebay or maybe there is a way to make some hardware changes to one I posses or there is some kind of driver that will do. The one from ross tech don't.

I guess you also need to reprogram it, so VCDS recognize it as Ross-tech cable.

    ps. Just guessing, not sure.

Interface is OBD, it is not branded so I can't tell which firm produced it. It is written on it that it supports all OBD 2 protocols. EOBD, OBD, CAN RoHS Compilant. I installed driver ELM327 and it is working perfectly with Fiat Ecu scan. In ecu scan program I have option to select K-line/VagCom but it is only recognized if I choose ELM327.
When I open VCDS it is not recognized and I can't install driver from ross tech. OS is win XP. With Ross tech cable it working. Now with this interface won't. But I think there must be a way to make it work with VCDS. If you have link on ebay to buy cheap Ross tech compatible cable please provide. But if there is faster solution I am open to suggestions. Since I live in Croatia when I order something it takes at least two weeks to arrive.
This OBD interface allso have LED diodes that indicate read or write activity.
Is there any way to make this work with VCDS?

Why do you think that VCDS must be working with ELM device?

I don't know I thought that it might be working that is why I asked at first place. If there is no way to make it work with VCDS does anybody have a link to ebay for cheap VCDS compatible cable. All I can find are similar to one I already have.
