    I have attached the pictures to my previous post, sorry about that. It is reasonable price wise to change the FTDI, is this hardware version upgradable to the the last vcds version?
    The FTDI itself is not that expensive, about $8, maybe I cand solder it myself. But after that, it needs to be programmed? If yes, can it be programmed by usb, or does it need a special programmer ?
    Thanks again! You are doing a great job!

    A chip that is responsible for FT memory exploding, who knows what the consequences are, it may be worth buying a new one.

    The external EEPROM of the FTDI chip is fried. See your 2nd photo. It costs ~0.50 $/€. It can be reprogrammed using MProg and the supplied template in the package via USB.

    But the most important aspect is that your cable doesn't have GAL chip - it will not work normally. So all in all, it's not worth the effort. Just keep it for spare parts or give it as a gift for neighbour's kid.
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    Wow, now, looking at the enlarged photo, I can see it. The real thing looks(for me) more like a factory defect. Do you know what is the name of that eeprom-I might give it a shot before buying another one?

    Edit: I am searching for a new cable, how can I be sure it is HEX V2 ? Is this HEX v2 ?

    This is not actual HEX-V2 but this is the best thing you can buy now in the market.

    What is the difference between the clone HEX-CAN and HEX-V2 (outside of speed)?

    Does anybody get a blue led light from their HEX-v2 clone when just connect the usb to the PC?
    Or will it always be red when you connect to PC and green when you connect to the car?

    Hello. I tried Loader V9.1 with HGJ19.06. File 2 x86. This doesn't work for me either. Version V8 wrote Fail 4. Does it work differently?
