My cable uses FT232RL. My cable is recognized as FTDI as VID0403 and PID6001. I have tried vidpidfix.exe, but app crashes when I press Open, after search.

You at first install the driver on VID_PID=0403_6001. The device should be identified. You install a tick of DEV before search, inside vidpidfix.exe.

My cable is recognized, and with vidpidfix I am doing as described in many instructions, but after pressing Open, vidpidfix crashes when in status windows -reset- appears.

Hi, friend of mine brought me 2 VCDS 805 BL for reflashing, but there is something wrong with them? Both cables when I plug them into +12v the led light goes red and blinking, is not green. I reflashed Atmega with few different dumps and still led light is red and blinking, and interface not found during the test. Beside this on one of the cables stabilizer 7805 goes very hot after while. Any sugestions???

i think you have faulty atmega

led light is red and blinking because of fuse bits and security bits, check them.

Hi, can somebody help me with GAL programming?! I tried program GAL16V8B on 3 different programmers but still without the success
It doesn't matter if I program brand new GAL or from the cable, the content of the GAL after programming is diffrent than the used .jed file-and I don't know why??? I erased the Gal before programming then load .jed file the whole programming proces goes true, no error messages, and after that when I read the Gal the content programmed Gal is different than the used .jed file.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
