You have a picture that you probe the voltmeter on one of the pins 7805 (where you have 0V). There you should have 5V. The opposite pin is the input, 12V, and the center pin is GND.
Read the datasheet!
Between Cathode Diode and Pig 1 7805 you have to have conductivity.

Honestly, after the questions you ask, you seem to have no experience. I'm sure almost 90% of the problem is on PCB, on copper routes.

Measure where i said "0 ohm". If not 0 ohm, first solder again pin 1 of 7805; if not ok, extract U8 and U9 if have "hot air station" and check the copper route.

And clean very well that solder flux from R1 R2 OBD zone and after make again photos.
Check where go the R2 pin (with 0V) ..
Is not so easy to repair...without experience

Thanks to the hints liviudiaconuand jan4 schama vcds cable which he shared, it was discovered that under u9 the track was torn off, the track recovered, at 7805 appeared 12 volts at the input and 5 volts at the output, on the board 5 volts more nowhere else, neither on 2515 nor on the processor nor on 16v8 nor on si9241, when connecting the programmer (the programmer I connect correctly) on the processor is 5 volts from the programmer but when trying to fill in the firmware, there is no answer, there is no power to p2 due to the exit from standing one of 9241. I ordered the IC in the online store

......and first , " see" if you can do what you need with VCDS. Because depends by model, trim, year of fabric... for a older car you need different programs/cable to activate - lets say roll up windows by the remote.

No 5 V on ICs? Your PCB copper is broken. Try check where is the problemm.

Hello guys,

I get a `CAN not ready`, although:

- interface is plugged into car.
- the car CAN interface/gateway has been tested with another interface and worked just fine.
- tried various 17.X and 18.1.0 vcds versions, using Kolimer's loader (interface was reported as licensed/active) and flashed using the language utility and usbasp method.
- K protocol seem to work on various modules.

Any pointers on what can i check? As i understand the CAN protocol can't be tested on a, lets say 'loopback manner [ aka rx-tx crossover ]', so i can verify the circuitry.

Its a Skoda Octavia 2 (1Z3) - 2006 year.
For sure it has a CAN capability, as i've been able to use it with another interface( vcds clone ).
