    Are you sure?
    Please, VID_ and PID_...

    VCDS have 0403/FA24 or 0403/FA24.

    Second:
In W8+ must disable digital driver signature verify

    http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-...igned-drivers/
    Third:
Is verry possible VAG 912 is deprecated. SO..maybe will need to upgrade the cable to..15.7.3..16.8.3...
If find eeprom for free, will be free. If not.....that is!

    thanks for your reply.

i am sure, but is it possible that it was destroyed and now it shows wrong vid and pid?
i found a site (vag-diagnostics.com) they had vag908 64bit for DL, but i dont get the password to unrar it... maybe this version will work.

is it easy to upgrade? i read that i have to open the cable and connect cables direct to the chip. is this right?
i think it?s easier for me to buy a new one...

any good shop or ebay link to a nice cable?

Question Update old VAG COM Clone 10.6.4MFT to 11.11.5

    Hi guys!

I have read this thread from September 2011 on and the DUMPS-thread complete. But I am still a bit confused about some things, I hope you will help me.

First of all, this is my Clone:
    VAGCOM-front.jpgVAGCOM-back.jpg

    The components are:

    • ATMEL ATMEGA162
    • FTDI FT232BL
    • ST 8S103F2P6
    • ATMEL 93C46

    PALCE 16V8H
    MCP2515
    MCP2551?
    L7805

It identifies as VID_0403 & PID_FA20, the firmware is 1.84.

Right now it runs with VCDS 10.6.4 MFT – but WITH Loader, the serial number is the well-known 014155-50275A.
I tried to run it without loader (because in the threads I read that FT232BL works with original software), but then it says unregistered.
Also the Auto scan doesn’t work.

In the threads I read, that the last free dump is for 11.11.5, so I want to try it out.

Here are my questions respectively the procedure:

    1. Get the correct dumps/flash/eeprom files for ATMEL162, FT232BL (I think I have the right ones from Fantomel called „vers 5 2005.12.17.11.11.5 bmblnorl.hex“ and „VCDSFT232BL.ept“)
    2. Install FTDI drivers so that MProg/FTProg would recognize the device
    3. Flash „VCDSFT232BL.ept“ via MProg/FTProg over USB
    4. Desolder chip U9 „ST 8S103F2P6“ and parts R50, R51

    U9-R50-R51.jpg
    5. Connect device with USBASP card – here I have some extra questions:
    • I think I have some solder points so that I don’t have to solder direct at the ATMEL pins, is that correct (see pictures)?
    • ATMEL-PINS.jpgsolderusbasp.jpg
    • To which pin of the USBASP card can I connect the +5V of the L7805?
    • From where can I get the 12V to power up the device? Do I really need them? Or should I just plug it into the car while flashing?

    1. Erase ATMEL, flash fw1.84 eeprom and then the “vers 5 2005.12.17.11.11.5 bmblnorl.hex” file. After that
    2. Write those fuses/bits to ATMEL: LOW: CD / HIGH: DC / EXT F9 / LOCK: CC(or FF)
    3. Disconnect everything
    4. Install VCDS 11.11.5 and turn of internet connection
    5. Be happy with a fully working VCDS clone?

Have I missed out something? Is there a newer working version of VCDS?
It would be nice if you can review my steps and give me some tips to get everything correct.

    Thank you very much!

    Have a nice day!

    Default Cracked VCDS 16.8.0

Cracked VCDS 16.8.0 (Exe only) and ATMega dump (FW for HW type 1 & 2 + EEPROM). Dissabled marriage with FTDI Chip ID and cleared blacklisted serials. Original VCDS 16.8.0 installation can be found here https://link-4share.com/download/jl3...aller_rar.html.

Copy cracked VCDS vcds_dump_16.8.0_crack.exe to the directory where vcds is installed and run it.

I have one old 7.04 with FTDI BL who was updated to 12.12.
What combination of files can i use from your uploaded files for updating my old vcds to 16.8.0 version?
What type of HW i should use?
    It is safety for updating?
I run on Win XP almost time.

Interesting stuff but eeprom looks like from 112/11.3 version. Maybe I will try to use it, what fusebits should be set?

HW1 - ATMega pins 34 and 35 connected to GAL
HW2 - no connection on ATMega pins 34 and 35

EEPROM is the same as for 11.2, but blacklisted serials are cleared from vcds.exe. Also signature checking (RSA) of license is disabled.

    EEPROM addresses :
    - License : 0x00B0..0x00BF
    - RSA signature (SHA1 of License) : 0x0041..0x00AE
    RSA Public KEY N : 5752669A8452A1C46E597E645B8674F2CAF6A6E2E51404FF28 A3DABD422B44DFD036D3D85E4BAD308F4185EAC05E8FEA6E0D 505CF22896DD76FFCDBC11708AF765D0991F1747262BA9ED8B EEDE83E36CC1FF535179BF43AD26CB76CB073BD3CA2855E989 C923EEDF0EC7934B86AF
    RSA Public KEY E : 10001 (=65537)

    Fusebits : Same as before

@kolimer could you share more details? What fusebits have to be used? What FTDI chip is supported?
