    Is this the same in your case?
    This is familiar to me also. I can just add that on some car CAN status is OK, so it is something that is related to car itself. "CAN not ready" I get on vehicles that are CAN but not from VAG group, on VAG group I get status OK.

    I have "SHORT TO +12V" FOR K1 after Test. Problem is not related to aftermarket radio as described on RT.

    What components I need to check, replace?

    Hi. obd2cartool #6093
    Not sure I understand what you are saying here.
    The Hex V2 cable you supplied me with does not have the diode. Do we need ESD diode - PES2DCAN,215 for can line protection or is it simply not needed?

    I think he means that the ESD diode is NOT needed at all because NXP1050 has already built-in ESD protection. As per quick look at the spreadsheet, this appears to be true.
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    Hello. I recently started receiving function requires licensed interface message while doing an auto scan. I think I may have accidently left the internet connected. I use version 17.8.1 that came with the cable. Pictures of my interface are attached. Can someone point me where to begin? Thanks

    Your cable looks good, is x46 type and you can beggin looking for kolimer 6.3 zip file shared 20...or more pages earlier. Read info pdf file inside the zip... and try to flash by usb... if no succes with that method you need usbasp programmer. Just take some time to read...
