please tell as the truth story. you used newer VIIPlusloader and not one wich was delivered on CD!!! fly FW block you fake interface!

your pc detect it for few milliseconds then interface go "offline" and disconnect it self.
the are no solution available to fix it.

I was traying to figure out where is now best place to buy VCDS Hex-V2 clone - Aliexpress or other store. If im remember there was some UK store that also offer discount for members?

Is this the latest and gratest and it can be updated?

I wouldn't order anything from that site, its not secure. There is no HTTPS certificate which is an instant red flag when payment is concerned. Chinese website based on the contact number.

Listing also mentions F405, F407, and F429 chipset, so there's no guarantee what you're actually going to be getting.

Just because it is http does not mean it is a scam. Setting up https can be a pain in the ass and is an extra cost to the website. If nobody is willing to provide a good seller then you just have to chance it, then come here and bitch and moan about the purchase later if you got screwed

Thanks for letting me know - i was traying to find good seller and check here if it is some good recomendation. I did not get why FLY VCDS is not or it is OK (i notice his profile is banned) - if i read OK he is onlyone that offers VCDS with option of STM32F429 + LKT4106 which to mee seems latest version - please correct me if not. I still have old VCDS hex v1 and it struggles with new cars...

That account is banned but he is still here with a new name. Problem with fly is he does not know when to keep quiet. Thats why he is not liked but he does have good vci's as far as i am aware and they make the viip loader. No doubt the badrax loader came from the bad taste left in his mouth when he got banned from here

HTTPS is actually very necessary for websites that process payments. If you order from a website that is not secured by HTTPS certificate, then don't start crying when you find your credit/debit card has suddenly been hammered with spurious purchases.

You can do the same with https, dont talk nonsense. If it is a legitimate payment option there are security checks in place anyway regardless if it is http or https. Do you even know how easy it is to get a https certificate?

Yes, and in order for it to be obtained from an SSL supplier, you need to be the domain name owner, which means verification checks are done before it can be issued.

If an HTTPS cert has not been issued by a certified SSL provider, your browser will warn you that there is an error with the certificate. If you proceed to the site anyway, well, you can't say you weren't warned.

Well, you cannot just get a cert and apply it to any site, of course it will give warnings, will also give the same warning if your https subscription has run out. There is no verification check, only to check if the domain is real. You can setup a site for less than €150 domain, host and https. All of which can be done anonymously

Of the ones I've tried, I would recommend the 65-70 euro one which has the ST32F429 chipset with two capacitors. I got mine from Aliexpress from a seller with a warehouse in France and shipping within 5 days to Italy. I got 4 of them and they all have real F429 chips with two capacitors. Loader Fly V2 VIIPlusLoader-08.023.11 VCDS 23.11. Upgradable, said by the seller. I'm sharing with you so we can share information about updates and various issues.

Yes there is. I have to do this annually for my workplace, and verification checks are carried out to ensure the domain is owned by who has registered it.

We could argue for ages on this, but the fact remains, the link posted by podlbo earlier, is an unsecured site and should not be trusted with your payment details.

I'll end it there, since its now starting to derail the thread topic
