i dont like bananas.
Whip the cream with the instant coffee and sugar
until thick and smooth. Now spread the toffee over
the base of the flan. Peel and halve the bananas
lenghtways and lay them on the toffee. Finally
spoon or pipe on the cream and lightly sprinkle over
the freshly ground coffee.
*CAUTION
It is absolutely vital to top up the pan of boiling
water frequently during the cooking of the cans. 3
hours is a long time and if they are allowed to boil
dry the cans will explode causing a grave risk to life,
limb and kitchen ceilings.
Hint - Banoffi is a marvellous ?emergency? pudding
once you have the toffee mixture in your store
cupboard. We therefore suggest that you boil
several cans at the same time as they keep
unopened indefinitely.
i dont like bananas.

so much easier, and doesn't need to to be blind baked and you can buy premade condensed milk in a tube (the caramel stuff) and scooshy cream and it takes no time to put together!
no need for the sarcasm... I was only helping.

digestive biscuits and a bit of butter to stick it together but this is the frist and real one never had it this way and shady f off
digestive base for banoffee pie is a much better taste, goes better with bananas in my opinion, plus its got a more homebaked feel to it, plus its good to get the kids involved with, letting them crush the biscuits. (not that my little one is old enough but its something i remember from when i was younger)
biscuits are the job for it alright and adds a bit of bite

Saw this recipe some time back, and had a go at it. Worked a treat, came out very nice.
Will be making some changes to adjust personal tastes, but very gd.
