It is an esaytronic?
Hello all.
I have a corsa D year 2007 1.2 xep that does not start.
An "F" appears on dashboard display and i read the following faul code from IPC (Instrument):
Total number of fault codes: 1
U2107 - Invalid Data from BCM (Body Control Module)
(71) - Present
I tried to reset BCM, Airbag unit , dashboard and transponders, after that the problem persists.
I also can't comunicate with ECM (engine).
I've checked all fuses and relays.
can someone help me?
Thanks.
It is an esaytronic?

No, not easytronic, its manual gearbox.
if you have no comms with ecu, you need to check for power and earth supplies, very common is after car been in garage for clutch or gearbox, small earth wires under battery tray been left loose or not put back.

error means no comunication between BCM and engine ECU, to which you cant connect? that one could be faulty. Follow cables between the 2.
Any history on the car? previous jobs, when did this happen?

The problem happend 2 days after the steering column has been changed, and i get this faults from power steering:
C0000 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
(08) - Present
C044A - No Engine RPM Signal
(08) - Present
But i dont think this is why the car dosen't turn.
hmm i suspected.... all the corsa i got in the workshop with F fault was the cranckshaft sensor, but they were all easytronic, maybe manual gearbox has same problems and nothing to do with the easytronic gearbox. I m pretty sure that the sensor it s gone. if you google that F error in 90% of the cases it was the crank HAL sensor.
I say it s worth giving a shot and replace it. What doesnt make sense is why there is no comunication with the ecu.

The VSS and RPM faults on the EPS are most likely due the ECU communication problem. In the diagram I have, the CAN bus goes from the ECU, through the ABS module, then through the EPS to the multifunction control module (BCM?). I'd be having another look at the EPS seeing as thats what has been changed. Find the CAN wires and scope them and see if a decent waveform is on them and take it from there. Don't be just swapping stuff in the hope it will fix it.

sorry for my English
check power supply 12v
check gnd
check two wires (can-bus)
If everything is correct possible faulty bcm
Hi Guys excuse my ignorance but what is the BCM? The one in fuse box near the battery or the one aound steering column? I have the exact same problem but o a 1.4xe. Was this resolved? Can anyone give me tips? My car was in a crash but looks prety decently repaired. I notice different vins on ipc and bcm but thats it i have requested pins but no comms with ecu or abs
Please be more specific about model since Z14 XE is older from Z12XEP.
Did you try diagnosis and if yes what fault codes did you have.
Did you find a solution to your PROBLEM ?
Please give feedback for the rest of us to know.
1.4xep south africa car
U2107 - Invalid Data from BCM (Body Control Module)
no comms with ecu also
other faults incl
U2100-00 can bus error
U2108-00 can to esp/abs
U2111-00 can to eps
i can see there is a can issue but what colour wire is it or how do i follow it?
Thanks for the reply
For vehicles without TCS from pins 75 and 99 of multifunction control module colors green and white to ABS control module pins 26 and 15. From ABS pins 25 and 14 to Engine ECU . All this for manual transmition.

thanks i will test and report back much appreciated
common problem when EPS is dead, try to remove plugs from EPS and bridge CAN wires (white to white, blue to blue) so comunications between BCM and ECU trough ABS to be done, then you will be able to start the car...
