Default Here we go again, lots of missing channels questions....Answers HERE

Right where shall we start ...as a good man said at the beginning......

There seems to be a lot of people lets say (politest way i could think) thats not got many post's & don't come on DK until there's a problem with missing channel's.... back on the forum asking questions again) No disrespect intended its just a fact...

Our friendly provider from where we all get our tv....has changed a lot of frequency's & by all accounts many more in the next few days & weeks to come...I.e no signal on many channel's picture vanished....

Help yourself like this learn to do this & then you will know what to do if it happens again....or pay the bloke next door to come round & do it everytime...

The next steps will help you get your channel's back...depending on the experience you have with your box.....

    1. you can upload a new channel list to the box......here are two great one's that the providers spend there spare time correcting for you so you don't have to......

AJ's Sky UK Channel List **Only** Thread - Updated Regularly & Sattv5 Sky Numbered Channel List **Only** Thread

these are updated all the time......how do you load them i hear you say......
Download the file & don't for get to say thx TO Aj or Sattv5 (bottom left THANKS button) for the people that provide us with the channel list's

Download winzip install it....then click on the file above you downloaded unpack it to your desktop on the computer
    The file name is TP_prog
Get a usb stick....copy the file to the stick

Now before doing anything Delete All Channel's from the box ...Menu/channels/delete all/restart the box ..when the box restarts it should disply No channels......don't panic it should do this...

Now plug the stick in the F/Open/X/ box
On the remote press menu /then find update by usb/click ok
at the top press sideways on the remote till you see Misc file
press start then highlight TP_prog/press ok it should put a green tick at the side
press the yellow button on the remote wait till the box does its thing
then reboot the box......full channels back

    2. update the channels one by one .....4 easy steps.....How to fix missing channels for the newbies

Trial & Error is the only way to learn.......help yourself & gain the knowledge then you can help others
