Hi, guys.
I bought the car a couple of months ago as a non-starter.
It was showing high fuel pressure on starting with Opcom and the ECU was cutting the engine. I fixed this with a metering valve on the HP Pump and it cured the car.
However the car is cutting out randomly when idling and when on overun and is a bit dangerous when cruising etc.. It starts straight away after this.
I have recorded live data with Opcom and all I can see is fuel pressure fluctuating and not very stable until the pressure drops too far from the required pressure requested by the ECU.
So it certainly looks like a fuel pressure problem.
this is the newer fuel rail with only one sensor on it, could it be this?

Injector leak test or fuel tank pump must be 2.5 to 3.0 bar you dont have a fuel... first fuel filter second injector leak and third fuel tank pumpe

UPDATE
I checked live readings of the injector deviations with Opcom and all seems to be ok. injector1 = -0.5 injector2 = +0.3 injector3 = -0.6 injector4 = +0.6
Since cold weather the intank fuel pump seems to be noisy, although the car starts first time it stalls randomly after a short time but always restarts straight away.
Do you have any fault codes?
Yes 2 codes regarding low fuel rail pressure and 1 tank level sensor high input.
I can clear the fuel pressure codes but the tank level sensor one is not possible and its always present
btw my fuel gauge has never worked since I got the car, maybe best to whip the back seat up and check the in-tank pump and fuel level sensor
