I spend half my time taking TPMS off vehicles. Why would anyone want to add something that causes as much bother.
Good post though.

Hello Dunker and thanks for the appreciation!
I believe that TPMS system is very useful.
I'm not so careful to check on the tyre pressure sistematically and I have had some bad experience with tyres that have loss enough pressure to become unstable but still not visible at a naked eye.
On the other car of mine I have installed those universal TPMS systems, with inner wheel valves and the small display.
It's two years that is perfectly working, with none a single false alarm.
Everytime it has sent an alert, was for a real good reason.
So I decided to install it on the Corsa D as well.
What kind of problem did you have with your TPMS system?
Not me personally but many customers of mine ask me to remove TPMS due to the extortionate cost of the valves. To be fair now I think the newer TPMS systems that monitor from the tyre circumfetence from relative wheel speeds from the ABS are a far better idea.

Is it not possible to just enable DDS then.DDS will tell you a wheel is deflating while TPMS system will tell you which wheel. But if there is no way of displaying the pressures it will not be able to tell what wheel is deflating anyway and then the DDS system is just as good.
Very useful information. Thank you
