    Lightbulb Fiat Punto 1.2 16V - 1.4 16V ME7H4 EEPROM hacking

    Dear DK members,

    I have a Fiat Punto mk2/mk2b, 2004, 1.2 16V. The ECU is a Bosch ME73H4.
My goal is to enable Cruise Control. I know that it is not available by default for this ECU, but for 1.4 16V it is.
I wired up the CC to the ECU, and I can monitor the changes of CC inputs with MES, so the internal wiring is available in the ECU.
My guess is the CC is enabled/disabled by some bits in the EEPROM.
To find these, I need a dump file from a CC enabled 1.4 16V ME73H4, preferably from a Fiat Punto mk2b, best would be year 2004 or near that.

I successfuly hacked the instrument cluster of this car the same way, I can disable/enable CC LED, change automatic/manual transmission type cluster by changing the EEPROM content, this is why I think it would be possible to do the similar with the ECU.

By the way, anyone succeeded hacking something like this?
