I have followed your tut exactly as you have presented it ( fantastic by the way)
now i am stuck on the last part if you can assist.

the last part is the activator
I copy the meta into Albert_s_Easy_Activator
then i double click on Easy Activator.exe

then my trouble begins - this is what it says:

X 75 Unusable to decompress keygen. Run administrator. Error message : path / file accsess error.


I get that message 3 times and then i get another one saying

! runtime error'339' component 'RICHTX32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered : a file is missing or invalid.


I have deleted the activator and re- downloaded a fresh copy 4 times but i get the same results.



i have also tried Easyusetools_FOR_Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsyste mpatcher

i was not sure what i was doing with this program but after a bit of trial and error i managed to get the tom tom up and running again but unfortunatly there was no english on there so i could not understand anything
I have since restored the tom tom via tom tom home2 but i still have no english in any of the menu's but the map is in english?

got to use it to-morrow for work and it aint looking good.


any ideas of what i can do now please

I know that you dont want ppl to say thanks but a cant let it go how helpfull you have been

I have got the tom tom up and running again and got the english back

I deleted everything from tom tom again / formated it
and re instaled
still had problems with Albert_s_Easy_Activator as described in my last post? so i had another go with Easyusetools_FOR_Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck_ttsyste mpatcher and some how i got it to work

the only thing is now, i have lost my 6 digit poscode finder (i only have 3) and i still do not have truck nav,
at the moment this is the least of my problems because i will be able to use it for work. I will have another go in the week now i have the confidence with you help

I think u use vista. so, right clik on icon albert activator and then ''run as adminstrator'' and then follow the steps in tut.

why didn,t I think of that
so now i have everything running I am going to try the truck instalation.

so i assume i have to start the complete prosses from scratch following your tut, but use the navcor for trucks / GO530

I have downloaded this one

Ok Paddy with your help I / we are almost there!!!!!

Backed up the tom tom GO530 and deleted all files
Downloaded / opened and installed the 2 files (navcore for truck and meta file for map.)
The meta didn't crack the map - it cracked the speed cams but not the map (tried a few times) so i used the original meta that you had suggested and it worked fine.

So now i have a working tom tom with GO910 navcore for truck which allows me to enter all the data for my truck (weight / height / width / axels etc..... but then it says my map does not support data for trucks only car / bike / walk.

I have had a look your maps but i can?t see one that is for UK and supports trucks.

But looking on the positive side I have a bang on up to date tom tom and i have gained a lot of experience with you patients and guidance
