    I have same problem. With 12v plugged in it went grey and only j tag was green . what is problem ?

    Anyone ever use a clone Piasini to read a Mazda 5 RF7N ECU? Really don't want to kill this ECU with it....it's probably impossible to find a second-hand ECU for it here, so I'm afraid a bit to try...

    obdtools the uk site, No im not connected :>

    piasini working Denso mazda 6, no issues, all green on Protocols., 12V
    perfect read & Write. also cd i got with sw, had keygen,
    no emails to activate, so far all good
    if interested will post pic of board

    Was that by obd or on the bench ?

    Does anyone know of a china clone that works flash voltage and k line without problem ?

    Solution for 16V :

    - R41 0.2 Om
    - R40 200 Om
    - R43 820 Om
    - L2 220 uH

    Got my Piasini yesterday, and I also have a problem with voltages. Managed to change some components according to michael122's instructions, and now I have about 16,4V on 16V line (yellow wire) and 11,4V on 12V line (red) but if there's a load on the 12V line, voltage falls back to about 10,5V. I don't really think that is enough, anyone got any more suggestions what to change?

    Try change resistor R32 to 22kohm now is I think 19,1 kohm

    where are the problem clones comming from ?

    obd2s.com was excellent my contacts had 5 last year and all were good

    My solution for k-line :

    I replaced the R23 and R28 to the resistors 39k and replaced by SI9241 .

    I did not have in stock 9241, so I mounted the L9637 (according to datasheet) , and R21 replaced by 4.7 kOm to optimize L9376.
    Now the K-line is working properly

    Update - i have found R8 is missing off my board. What does R8 do ?
