KTAG clone!

ALL china clone need rework, i suppose that when you plug 12v to the tool one led blink on-off and then red led turn on (702 and wgs are wrong and the others have low quality)

here are pic with simply rework, with this you have good working tool

change all components with good european (not china) and all will work

Better Use on Win XP

No, it turn on and stay on, do not blink in any point of the procedure.



Except the component on the picture, should i change the filter with motura? Is it necessary to change the capacitors with other with better quality?

Finally, is it better to use win 7 32bit, instead win 7 64bit? I know that most of th programs run very well on win XP, but these days i suppose that it is not so easy to find the microsoft update files for win XP.

Hello mates

Can someone that has K-TAG to confirm if the pin (collector) of the BC817 is connected with solder or copper line on the PCB with the self healing fuse X14
(See the attached picture: Red arrow shows the place of the two composnents on the pcb and the blue arrow shows the connection between the to components.

I dont know how to upload a foto but on mine V7.020 the X14 and the collector of the BC817 are connected together.

I used it once without done the rework.

I replaced the Power Supply that KTAG came with another 220V/12VDC 1,5A Switching and with ferrite at the end.
You can find it at electronic Stores relative with CCTV equipment.
If you use your workshop Power supply be sure that has filter at the output.
Most of the good switching power supplies have.

Hi all.

I have a problem with my ktag clone. It have software 2.23 and hardware 7.020

I tried to conect in diferent ecus and always give me this message:

"Hardware configuration not support: send the log files to the software provider"

What can I do?
