is it posibile to shange MX29GL256 and than update firmware

Hi igorr,

Now i finished my first project. Here is the result...

The MX29GL256 flash has stored your FVDI db.bin, Pls read it and you will have the db.bin backup file.

The LPC1788 has the fw.bin content.

Old firmware stored the Flash 0x4-7FFFF (262144b) block and new firmware stored 0x2-7FFFF (393216b). Still I working a new fw file

My solution is a mine only, NOT share, NOT for sale !!! Only info or any news !!!

hi all

i have problvem with genuine AVDI, it has been repaired by KAP a few months ago and has now failed again, it appears that additional components have been added to circuit board in last repair.

the unit powers on with single flah of red LED and then does nothing, i receive error message no connection to interface whne plugged into PC and no flashing green LED

i have changed capacitors and diode with no change

wow mate i don't have a lot of time to look the thread carefully but i am glad to hear that you finish the project with you start .
I can say only one thing keep to get this project upgrading and tou will make a great job i am sure ,even better than FLY witch AVDI sh*t is not close 10% to the ori .

Similar as the new version of Fly interface with v6.2 or v6.3 software. Works max 40%.....

Old version from fly works 90% perfectly and cost is $588+ shipping.

Friends not shure for you but i have testing 5 different all software FVDI that may be is clone of clone of clone... and with all i have problem with Tag tool - it failed to read 99% of transponders , when i open program checks for programmer and is found it bit when i press detect /read almost every time i have message - no found transponder or something similar Do any have solution for this problem may be something on programmer board is wrog because red diode light up and green blink for the moment when search for a transponder .

Hi,

Your Tag antenna is old or new version?
if you connect the antenna Red led is light or not?
If you running the tag software and read one chip then green led is blinking or not?
