Default recording to shared folder not recognized...

recording to shared folder not recognized...
Hi,Dreambox 500c Dk_v1 image Setup to record to shared folder but when I try to start recording it shows the following message on the TV screen:
Record failed due to inaccessable storage.

Managed to setup recording to NAS drive and this works great but would also
like to record straight to laptop drive.

Tried turning the NAS Mount off in the WUI but no joy.

One thing I have noticed is, in the WUInterface the NAS hardrive is recognized and even shows the capacity of it.

However when trying to record to laptop shared folder it shows up capacity of drive has: n/a n/a after pressing record and shows up:
Record failed due to inaccessable storage.

    Any ideas would be greatful

Is your mount setup ok, i.e. is there a green tick when you look at the settings on the web interface?

    There's a guide here...see if that helps.

    http://www.dreamboxtips.com/how-to-s...ect-recording/

A NAS drive is Samba (SMBFS) and a PC folder is CIFS, make sure you alter the settings accordingly.

Post and screenshot of your mount settings from the web interface if you can.
