    i thought so. he quoted ?40 for realignment. and quoted ?20 for replacement cable.

    i told him i got some cable. i bought 100m for around ?12 from ebay. the f**kers hike the price up. my dish is about 20m away.

        ?40 to have a Guy back who initially installed the system that as you put it did not have a clue fair enough get a professional round and its a lot more, Thats why you should do it yourself for future reference.

            Have a look on the famous auction site or Gumtree and see if you can pick up a second hand Horizon HDSM USB model maybe a few years old but still supported even now and pretty easy for even a novice to use

              If you have an enigma box, you could use an app on your smartphone or tablet etc to view the signal at the box... Or put a tv where you can see it whilst outside, both methods incur zero costs

                all fixed. agc 99% 93% snr on Thor & 19.2 etc. 28.2 snr drops to 81%.
