The Loader-V2 does not work there is an error message.
I put you the version Loader-V1.9, it works well.
Remains more than finding the key generator "request_licence.DAT"

mon chere ami ca me semble que tu ne sais pas de quoi tu parle. tu as une interface chinois avec loader chinois. utilise celle ci ou pas. celui-ci c'est pas un topic du loader chinois.

my dear friend, it seems to me that you do not know of what you speak. you have a chinese interface with chinese loader. use this one or not. this is not a topic about chinese loader.

For your knowledge I have seen the same thing in a friendīs 0x44HW FT232BL interface that everything works ok minus fault codes reading. It takes forever to read fault codes.

    Here is attachment.
I tried to connect to Airbag module and fault codes are wrong.. Also tryed to perform SRI reset.. also not worked (will try with 11.11 version to be sure)

EDIT: Reflashed back to 11.11.0 and SRI reset done without problems..

would be very nice to have it fixed..

    Hello everyone.
I have a VCDS clone cable made by some guy from Latvia. The people who have recommended it to me said that it was a very quality build.
Anyway, I have been using 11.11.0 version. Unfortunately, last week something has happened and the About screen now shows "Unregistered/ unauthorized". I have tried erasing the VCDS and reinstalling it, tried it on different car, etc - nothing helps.

Is there anything what can be done to recover the cable so that it is usable again?

PS: if you ask wether it might have gotten an Internet connection - the answer is NO, the laptop has been physcially disconencted, WIFI disabled, and hosts file contains proper entries too. We were coding ABS but it took around 1 hour or so, so the VCDS was connected long time to the car while this has happened.

    Appreciate any input. Thank you.

    EDIT:
I have taken apart the adapter and inside found chips with such markings:
    ATMEGA162
    16AI 0611

    ATMEL
    ATF16V8B
    15JC 9841

    MCP2515

MCP2551 (there is a transistor glued over it)

    The photos of the adapter:
    https://ibb.co/esLcGk
    https://ibb.co/j13m95
    https://ibb.co/iahDp5

There also are 6 pins for flashing but the pinout is not ordinary. Looking from top to bottom:
    VCC | GND
    -------+------
    MISO | Reset
    -------+------
    MOSI | SCK

Unfortunately I can't take photos of the backside, as the board is glued to the back cover of the adapter - it's impossible to pull it.

hid3 - just reflash the interface with the files from this topic. If you are not able to use the 6 pins, solder the wires directly to the ATMEGA chip. You have instructions in this topic.

LE: You could use the pins from the picture you've posted. Just match every pin to the programmer's pinout. Good luck!

    Thanks.
Although I have one doubt - the hardware identifier tells me I have 0x44 hardware version.
However, if you follow the instructions in Info.PDF, then to me it seems that it's 0x46 as 34 and 35 pins on Atmega are NOT connected anywhere...
So which HW version in fact do I have?

EDIT: I used MProg to read the info about the chip. It seems that I have FT232BM one: https://ibb.co/jQs7Gk

    Guys,

today I got a cable from a guy who doesn't use it as it has no VW/Audi car.
He told me that the condition of the cable is unknown, it might be spoiled because it was "updated" with bad version of V-C-D-S.

Anyway, I took apart and inside it looks like this:
    https://ibb.co/fPX5p5
    https://ibb.co/bK5EhQ
    https://ibb.co/fz9wwk
    https://ibb.co/coZkp5
    https://ibb.co/dTBbwk

It has got the chips on with the following markings:

    ATMEGA162V
    8AU 0907

    GAL16V8B

    ATMEL912
    93C56

    --- on the backside >>>
    FTDI
    FT232BL

    MCP2515

    TJA1050

Also, it seems that someone has already been inside. As you can see in the pictures, it has got some chips already removed and some kind of spare wire is routed from ATMEL912/93C56 chip.

    My questions:

Q1: Is it possible to upgrade this cable to something current? e.g. kolimer's dumps, etc
Q2: I suppose you need to solder wires directly to Atmega chip as there are no pins routed for programming, right?
Q3: Is the spare wire on the ATMEL912/93C56 chip required or should it be removed
Q4: Are there any other hardware modifications which need to be done before flashing/programming the Atmel?

    Thanks a lot!

    Is 44 with BM/BL.
Kolimer affirm V2 work on BM/BL too. Some persons affirm not work.
You will try and will see.

Alright, will do. This will be my first test bunny which I'll be testing once I receive the USBASP device - I don't want to brick my good interface
Also, compared it to the interface I have and noticed that it doesn't have a 1n4007 diode on the 16th pin. I guess this is used for some kind of protection. Will buy the diode today and solder it in.

    Thanks for your support
