    Default Nm ( Newtion Meter ) from what depent on tuning

    Hello friends,

    i would like to know from what the Newton Meter is depent ?
    so when i tune a car what i have to change to get more newton Meter
    Although i would like to know what important is to get more PS.

    PS is something calculated from NM.

    Generally, as equation says :

    P=M*n/9554 (it's useable when n = rotations per 1 min, M = torque in Nm); output is in kW

    As You see, the more revolutions You have, and more torque, more power You obtain.

    How to get more torque ? Increasing injection quantity It's only generall fact, because fuel can be burnt in different conditions (temperature, start of injection) etc, and one tuner will get fx 350 Nm from 60 mg, another 340 Nm from same IQ

    Can i ask second question?
    is to much Torque -> Nm dangerous for Engine ?

    When i realize when tuning is good? is the Torque always available or just between rpm from 2000 until 4000 ???

    To much Torque Yes bad for Flywheel and Clutch

    Range of torque available depends on engine (block, dynamic characteristics of piston-rod set), also injection system - fx 2.0 hdi 2007-2010 with siemens sid have peak of Nm and then curve falls down. In case of 2.0 hdi Delphi (140, 163) torque curve is much more smooth. Also turbocharging system decides how early You could achieve full boost and how long it could be as high to obtain high torque.

    last question in the beginning you wrote : P=M*n/9554 is this rule for Diesel and Gasoline ?

    Some of my friends told me this rule the factor is different - where is the difference ??
    P = M x n / 9551

    Its the law of physics.

    base formula for every angular motion.

    P = M ω
    M = torque (Nm)
    ω = speed (rad/s)

    =>

    P = M * 2 * π * n

    P = W
    π = 3.1416
    M = torque (NM)
    n = engine speed (1/s)

    this rule is for just for gasoline cars right not for diesel ?
