      Hi macca

I have been trying to upload an iso for you via "Free file hosting", so you can burn a boot cd, for your m8. but been waiting for it to upload for the last hour, (that's what you get for free I guess)..

Hang on it's worked, but in 4 parts..

      H_B_CD9.8.part1.rar

      H_B_CD9.8.part2.rar

      H_B_CD9.8.part3.rar

      H_B_CD9.8.part4.rar

It is a 150mb boot cd, with loads of Admin/Recovery tools-N-hacks. (very very handy)

      =====================================

For password recovery I think there's about 5 types, but you will only need the one...

Boot from this cd & select the type of tool you want it's quite easy to follow, in fact I will run you through it here:

      1. Boot with cd in
      2. select "Boot cd" when it apears
      3. select option 1 "password & recovery tools"
      4. select option 2 "search for SAM database", & wait for scan to finish
      5. it should only find 1 entry, if so press "Enter"
      6. select the account name of the password you want to clear
      7. make sure that there is an [x] where it says "clear this users password"
      8. Press "Y" to save changes & exit
      9. press any key & I think "Esc" a few times
      10. reboot pc/laptop without cd

you will now be able to boot into that account without being asked for a password.. (so he can make a new password if he wants)

      Hope This Helps

When you say that you have "followed your direction", you don't say who your talking about!!

There are about 3-4 diferent methods here, so if you can state who's method you are trying to use, then we can & help you m8.
