    Yes, I said in my post that I have tried it. Does it have anything to do with the images? What image is good for the dm500c?

    download from here
    RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

    unrar the file look in the key folder
    you will see two files one called keys and one called scce

    now you need to setup a ftp programe and transfer the two files sepratley into the dreambox
    once you connected to the dreambox you will see a tree of files
    so click on a file called /var/ transfer the key file over and then the scce file over
    then you need to restart the dreambox
    then chose one of the cams use evocamd then start it.
    goto a encrpted channel leave for a couple of minutes and hopfully you should see a picture

    Well,

    One thing about me is nothing goes right the first time. My dm7025 is up&running, all services are showing after a long wait. Thank God and you.

    My only prob is, the dm500c is pulling my leg a little bit as I can't find where to select and restart the Cam after downloading the keys you recomended from rapidshare using Dcc. I'm using the Kaos dk-Image.

    Thank again;;

    Thumbs up

    End of my story,

    The emu selector and restart is actually under the Info button by press and hold. Both dm's are up and running thanks to your genious self.
    I hope this helps a lot of members. Until some other prob, I say; Buy for now.

    Thanks;;
