*head spin throb* no, but if you do a search ther is a skoda octavia 'how to' in polish, but has good photos. Not sure if the same or not, not sure

Not in the mood for searching *dizy spin* but if you can't be arsed, then look for post's bymyself involving the word 'focus' as i asked the geezer if he had same info for focus, (answer was no)

*throb*
other wise nil poi

Try removing the dash & checking the wiring connectors on the back of the clocks, I did one about 12 months ago & it was all burnt in one plug, new plug & wires are available from seat

Bit of a pain to do as you have to splice in 32 new wires & the new wires are all yellow so you have to do them one at a time

Has this happened all on it own ? or was it after you did a correction ?

hi
i bought the car a week ago cheap and the only thing wrong was the dash, saturday i took the dash out and looked at the connector and the dash but all seemed ok .

i have done a search in google and found it to be a common fault, but cant find anything to help fix it. there is a company that will fix it if i send it in but i want to be able to fix it myself.

head stopped spinning, here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f114/skoda-octavia-85244/#post418549

If you are thinking of "cluster repairs uk" bunch of cu*ts.

Put it this way, next time M-H-M send one away, we are going to (not mad) spray paint the clocks on the board and see what they come back as like, they seem one of them "yeah, w can do it, sr" type of company's.

All you will get information wise is "yes sir, it'sa common fault sir", but you need to say "regulator, coont" see what they say.

Had a sharan once and bba.coonts ~~~~ed it up good and proper, and with a mondo set, bastards.

I have the same problem as wiggyshome, but in my case it happened after doing the correction.
Can someone help me out on how to re-programme it, or if someone has the dump file, can you please upload it here?

When my dash went dead in a Micra 1999 1.0L I sent the dash cluster to one of these "repairers" they said it was all ok and returned it, it still didn't work so I found a scrapyard who supplied one for ?40-00, cured!
Suspect that the electronics on the original have failed but have checked over and resoldered all suspect joints, if I could get a circuit diagram for it I could trace the circuits to see if the power is getting to the correct parts...........
