Unlocking an LG Secret KF750

Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock a LG Secret KF750 phone on Orange. Took it to a shop last week and was told they could do it but would take a week. Went to pick it up and they just told me it was not possible due to Orange software, apparently they can do other networks without a problem.

i could tell you but its a secret! just like the phone it should be able to be unlocked by now just ask around mate but it could be the orange software but serch online for unlocking codes .

you can get an unlocking sim, simply place the special sim in your phone, then any other sim card you want in that.
i've not tried this, but the guys feedback suggests it works
