opel astra H and OPEL EDC16 TOOL by smok

hello:

i have a clone of OPEL EDC16 TOOL by smok ver 1.0.
i ask if this tool can adjust dash of an astra H 2008 1.7 cdti or only it can adjust ECU?
i heard that the dash contain an eprom similar to M35080 that can't be reprogrammed, is it true?. please if someone have experience with this car to help me.

In dash no with this tool ...you can DO only engine ECU!

In dash you must change the 35080 eeprom with new one and programm it with new km value.

but UPA-USB or ETL can erase incremental area in first 2 lines,and no need changes,only reprogram,but with SMOK interface impossible,only changes in ECU

M8s in 2008 Astra H dash the chip is 35080VP that Upa doesnt erase . This one must be changed. Ive just done one last week. Belive me.

yes,UPA didnt work this one newer V6 models but ETL work! i know,most of us change it,simpliest way...

You are right my friend but our guy have only Smok Edc16 programmer. Etl is somewhere very far....
