Audi A4 8E0920900G DEF

Hi all,

I have an Audi A4 2002 year with cluster RB4 crypto to program new key.

I tried read pincode with tool but after, DEF message appears in cluster.

I can program keys, everything works ok, but always DEF message in cluster!

Is possible repair dump? In attachment.

I tried with abrites repair DEF but cluster only communicates one time. After, I need disconnect battery and connect again....

I tried, but everytime I disconnect USB, when abrites try communicate with USB the software closes...

And how I can connect carprog to dashboard on bench?

Too late to say, but ALWAYS, before modding IPCs, MAKE A BACKUP! DEF can be solved with the appropriate eeprom dump rewritten.

Try a new transponder id48 and add new key. See if def will dissappear.

Solved!

Ask a friend by SVCI2020 but the problem of communication only One time, is the same. However, the situation of disconnect USB cable and obd cable when dash reboots, works. So, with svci make dash Virgin and after adapted dash and keys.

Uploaded files with solution:

"RB4BOSCH_DEF": EEPROM dump with DEF error
"RB4BOSCH_RepairDEF": EEPROM dump after did "Repair DEF", so dash without DEF
"RB4BOSCH_RepairDEF_Virgin": EEPROM dump after did "Repair DEF" and "Virgin", so dash without DEF.

Can be helpful for someone!
