Hi Guys I need your help to find reliable info for following vehicle.

Peugeot 206GTI 2.0 (RFN)

DAM 933383

VIN: VF32CRFNF42513081

im basically struggling to find reliable fuse & wiring info for wipers. autodata & haynes pro dont make sence to me for wiring going in & out of BSI & Body Module fuse boxes.

My fault is intermittant wiper operation, when it does fail have no power to wiper motor, I have confirmed (via diag equipment) that bsi seems to be recieving signals from comms2000 (new 4months ago for seperate problem) also when fault does occure washers work but no wipe .
im suspecting a fault with either my engine fuse box or BSI possible dry solder fault or relay inside engine bay fuse box

I would like to confirm fault 1st. require inputs and outputs for engine fuse box. not sure how to procede as need more info how bsi tells engine bay fuse box to turn wipers on if its via VAN Network or physical wires.

any help appreciated.

Regards Japn

When I meant that autodata wiring diagrams were unreliable the connectors on modules are identified by colour and pin references and both autodata & Sorenco Haynes diagrams are alphabetical but no way of identifying that on modules I guess Haynes manual or factory data would be great if anyone could help would be brilliant.

Ok so I have decide to post this as it may help someone in the future, I have Ordered a 2nd hand BSM as I can confirm I have no power leaving wire 500 or 501 out of (green Connector terminals 1 & 9) the way that this system appears to work is that the singnal from the comms 2000 (Wiper Stalk) goes to BSI (passenger compartment Fuse board) via VAN network, I have confirmed that BSI appears to be recieving the signal by reading data parameters in the BSI. from there the Signal is fowarded to the BSM again via the VAN network. the BSM contains 2 relays which control the load side for the windscreen wipers.

I cannot say with certainty that the BSI is sending the signal to the BSM so have decided to just fit a 2nd hand unit when it arrives otherwise I will send my BSI to BBR Reman for test & repair.

If anyone has any input as to how I could confirm if signal sent from BSI (Maybe by reading Van signal with oscilliscope and looking for changes in signal) I would certainly be interested. I dont have peugeot planet but other generic scanners. also if anyone had the same issue on peugeot 206's would be grateful for the input.

:smile-new:

I did fianlly figure out Autodata diagrams (they have a key converting colour of connectors with A,B,C ect for diag references) they seem to be accurate.
