Can I read and write edc17u05 with tricore?

Am I able to read this ECU with tricore cable with ktm bench device? I bought it from aliexpress and seems to work fine via OBD but I tried it with a tricore cable and the PCM flash software failed to identify the ECU.

Chinese clones don't always work ok. Try bench mode. Not all ecu's work ok after Obd. Most edc 17 have Tprot. Best regards
