You need buy silabs usb debugger from usa.

And u need buy some mpps dump! I yoi have both together u need compare which pins of mcu u need connect to silabs usb debugger,and flash it...done;)

If you,my friend dont know if you can write the file you made,with cracked winols with mpps becoz mpps doent calculate the checksum,i guess u dont know really what the checksum is.

For what it is used,how it s calculatet!

Are u sure about what u did to your ori saved file,using winols???

The beginning is to know which ecu u need calc chksm by yourself(winols or whatever u wanna use) and which ecu get calculated checksum in write process by flashtool.

Edc15 are not calculated in writing from flashtool,so u need calculate your chksum,before writing the file.

If this cannot help u,i suggest u to open new threat about your question,as it is not really mpps related...

Do u know it is possible flash aborts,and serial flasher may no more recognise your ecu?

Do u know in this case what u have to do?

Which part to unsolder? Do u have paralell programmer? BDM? or any other backdoor solution in case of major fail?

Open file in winols and save it...will not change anything in it or in ecu,so even if u call this file version,mod1..etc what ever u whant,your car will not read the extension,and think:

Ohhhh...file is version1...i am pimped now..i will give some 15 hp more now...

The best tuners in the world use only galletto 1260 + ECM 6.2(3). That's a secret ... keep it that way :laugh:

MPPS V8 Do not recognize old DUMP so main change is as in UPAUSB modified system of driver system in base and you can test free it will not damage V5 interface only did not work or start if your interface is clone ....

As KWP2000 go out looking from these at moment MPPS go down maybe slow but go ...

Sorry for that but also ORI tool have a lot of bug and last good clones work 1:1 as ORI so peoples can exact see what work what not ...
It is same with VagDashCAN tool which is shit tool and not work more then 60-70% from that what was described in manufacture document's so look coming time of tool's which is big lie... even from EUROPE manufacture's ...

U are not only one encounter this problem.

Problem i have with one ALU boxed V1 MPPS from viaken...but did never try to reflash with 1.0.0.100 fw...

if correctly update it is something like AMT Flash.

Cracked sw and s/n patched have to more instability buy new MCU with official software is the best solution.

i think when you update to v8 your mpps was bricked, v8 software only starts when the hw check says hw is genuine, v8 software works on win 7 and vista i have tested on 32 and 64 bit,

Sorry to tell you,but your clone has been recognised as clone.
You need flash mcu or replace mcu,to make it work again.

For siemens 803A MPPS is not supported, MagPro2 is your chiptuning tool.

I have written some edc15 vag in k line V8..if there is speed improvement,it is for an thousands of second...so not important at all ;)

i have also this mpps 3.0.2.37.
i tried to read a4 1,8t year 2002 (29f800,1024kb) via obd.
it seems that the file is compressed or coded it only has 317kb. i have no idea whats happened here, i tried it several times, always the sam problem.
i have attached the file.

does anyone have a solution for that?

that looks more like a tiny copy protection of you tune in the ECU?!

In first, i run mpps V8 in winXP and Win7 32 bits and i saw any problem on same ECU.I have only clone in V5 (european) and V8 (Chinese), not genuine.Composant is the same as genuine for clone ? no ? (I said this for sure for good tool).
V5 and V8 run good for me but a better speed increase for V8 in normal mode.The best i think it's to have the two version clone or genuine.But i say this with no enought test.

For tune software i never see person who work with Win7 for sure

mpps tool is working very stable, no issues, on Win XP.

I agree fully with u about W7,nobody uses it tonreflash cars,as protuner..

XP is stable..very stable isnt also thrue,but good to work with..

Absolute favourite for me,in speed...accuracy...and never failed while reading writing any ecu...is Windows 2000...thats W for work,not for play;)

V5 posted here is cracked but V8 not.
Sorry but i think you clone is dead kill by V8 official posted here.
You need to replace MCU or reprogram it.

You need ready flashed mcu? Or hex dump(code) as u cannot read this mcu.

For writing u will need some silicon laboratories usb debugger.

And to write,no need unsolder...read is imPossible...so take your choice:)

fai cosi, da c: cancella la cartella del programma MPPS che hai installato, installa la versione del programma V3 (questa versione installa in automatico i driver giusti....), quindi cancellare nuovamente da C: la cartella del programma MPPS e installare quindi la versione V5, quindi collegare la presa usb e vedrete che il driver verra riconoscito!!!

Just copy amt.sys driver file to system32/drivers, and press "Scan for hw changes" button in the device manager section.(while having the tool plugged in the usb)
