has anyone had and fixed a vss or drive in gearbox for a 1.4 cit c3 ?
ime thinking the drive in the diff is screwed but has anyone else had the same fault
i can get a signal on the scope with vss off the car on the bench
will try it on the car with a drill to see but jus asking if anyones come across this before
the wiring is screwed so maybe something silly but its getting a 12v feed and a good earth to the vss
no output on car though ?

have to be vauge, pretty sure there is some french brand or maybee ford
where something 'falls off' inside the box, or is it rover, not sure, either way
put your finger or willy down the hole and get a trustworthy friend to turn the wheel 1/4 at a time and see if

a) If rips your finger off
b) You can feel the cog turning.

Are you checking the signal at the ECU or straight at the sensor ?
The little plastic drive can break off the diff housing, easy to check/replace though. remove the driveshaft & The little housing is just held on with 3 10mm bolts.

This is so BE gearbox.
C3 is a MA gearbox. MA gearbox must be opened for the differential access
