simos18.1 flash odx

Hi, i have a question about ecu simos18.10 for vag, if i try to flash update odx file to this ecu via engineering so it will be erased the immo after finishing the writing or not? & if we want to tune this ecu it will be erase also the immo in ecu flash?, cause i listen from some one it will be erase the immo after flash this ecu... please did any one get this error? or its not true?... thanks in advance...

File odx dont touch immo.

You can fail only if will flash different PCLASS ASW version - then ecu will be brick value. For tune you can fail only with boot backup write - if unsure stay with OBD.
