Did you replaced the lambda? Is better to change it, keeps the engine healthy and the others after you when driving.

Lambda in this case only for DPF control, but DPF is OFF ;-)

in this engine the probe works almost identically to the petrol engine

look for what is the soda installed for when the engine has a DPF

Closed loop oxygen control is used for short- and long-term adaptation learning of the injected fuel quantity. This is especially important in limiting smoke output, where the measured exhaust gas oxygen is compared with a target value on a smoke limitation map. Oxygen sensor feedback is also used to determine whether the target exhaust gas recirculation is being achieved.

You were partly right. This probe participates in engine control. But it is very interesting that in Mazda it is installed behind the DPF.
