May be a signal problem mate. Try using a variable attenuator.
I do this with my box. Some channels i have to turn the attenuator to get them.
I have an attenuator range 0-20 db

Hi are you familier with the dreambox edit program, it sounds as though you simply need to replace dud duplicate channels which the scan picks up.
If you create a few different bouquets you can replace the channels for working ones quite easily using this method.

as in too strong or too weak??
SNR is at 95% which i thought was optimum?

Is this the same on the channels you are missing?
Should sit bout 95 45. If this is a lot lower on the missing channels then it defo is a signal problem.
I had the problem with sky sports but the attenuator sorted it out. Yet i still have to vary it for other channels.
I know i need a booster to lift the signal as well as the attenuator but im happy varying the attenuator.

Try a rescan then. If this doesnt work i suggest you try the attenuator first as the only cost a few quid.
If not go down the booster route.

Download dreambox edit,it's available on here if you look about.
Enter in your Dreambox ip address in tools and select test ip, once this is talking to the Dreambox select save.
Now go back to main screen and select ftp, now click receive files from Dreambox.
You will have all your services on a list on the left hand side some of which channels are duplicated with non-service ones.
I would have a look here see if you can see any duplicates on the left hand side,if you can make a note of them and try the others.
I had exactly the same issues and this sorted out all my problems.
