Hello,

So my problem is this: Vito had problem with left blinkers not working so I changed used fuse/sam-unit. Now blinkers work, but car won't start. DAS said that "new" sam unit is defect. So I changed it again to another one and now I had all sorts of fault codes from sam-unit and car didn't start. It was soaked wet after I took out all the relays.

So I had to repair my old relay/fuse-unit (I open it and cleaned all the corrosion) and sam-unit (vnd600sp chip was burned, changed it and cleaned all the corrosion) and now there is no fault code from sam-unit, but the car wont start either.

Now when I try to start the car, only 3 cranks and it stops and ECM gives fault code: 2386-008 Internal fault (defect), and it only appears when I try to start. Also there is fault code from glow plug output stage (2537-001, short circuit or open circuit)

When I check Drive authorization: Sync of EIS and CDI is being performed = NO

I took a bdm backup of ECM with ktag and also flashed original flash (it was remapped) and nothing.

So I guess my ecm is really defect now after those crappy fuse/sam-units I tried before. What choises do I have now?
- used ecm with same hw/sw numbers and I transfer my ktag bdm backup to it?
- used ecm with same hw/sw numbers and immo off?
- transfer whole eeprom chip to new one?
- buy ecm, eis and esl from same car?
- and what else?

Could someone make my file virgin and also second one with immo off? If there is somesort of corruption or something, I dunno.

I appreciate if you could help me, thanks!

Little update:

I flashed original flash back over remapped file, no difference
I flashed virginized eeprom and activated via das, no difference

I ordered used ecu with same numbers and when it arrives I try to flash eeprom, micro and flash of my backup to it.

Little update (in case of someone cares): It's alive again!

Didn't get my new ecu yet, but when I inspected ecu more closely I noticed that one ground trace was getting heated. And that's probably because of cracked joint. I reflowed alot of joints again and made a jumper wire over burned trace. And voila, it works.

Today I received used ecu and I cloned it from old one, works perfect!
