Hello there

I need help to fix a File of:

Kia Sorento 2016
Dash: 94001-C6000
MB91F067

I tried using Stool by OBD2,
Read Flash ok
Patch Flash ok
Program Path Flash Ok
Read Eeprom - Dashboard needs to patch flash - Error

So, I tried to write original Flash back again - Ok

I soldered the wires to read flash and Eeprom - Ok

Compared the dump read by BDM and by OBD - more than 800k diferences.

I need a good file to program it back.

Reading in OBD fo KIA/Hyundai fujitsu MCU wil get different result

in OBD, reading start from address 00x060. and UART connection will start reading from 00x000.

if you have original StoolVDO software, you can ask to Alexander to get a good file.

if you use Mtool, then its different story

Here is how to repair your dead or bricked Kia Sorento with MBXXXX67BS

Use Stool Or Mtool and connect the wire use the picture in Stool or Mtool and write back Dflash and Pflash on the dash. Boom voila it will come back to life.

This is from a 2017 ,its the same thing and should work. write these by bdm ,obd won't work

Thanks for your help. you uploaded a shortcut. there is nothing. I worked on it with the STOOL, when I patched it it didn't turn on anymore. SORENTO 2016 USA by OBD2

This should work now. Don't use mtool on Kia sorento or Hyundia Santa fe by obd2 because when you go to patch the flash it corrupts the data on the cluster and they go black. Write these new files with mtools by bdm ,solder on 6 wires under the Fujisiu ,spansion (denso adapter) option and use sorento 2015-mb91f067 option you can write the work and main flash and correct mileage there.

it worked. perfect. It still had its eeprom data intact. edit the one you had
