Did you try with star diagnosis , to simply erase fault codes ?

Look i might be wrong, but if this is the one i think it is all you need is a cheisel and a hammer and a bucket (dear elisa)

MIGHT BE WRONG, BUT WORTH A LOOK ANYWAY.

Look at the diesel pump "4 cyclinder inline type"
the fuel comes in from the filter at the bottom of the pump, on the side of the pump is a black coded valve, held on with a shear bolt, place a cheisel
on the black bit and give it a good twat, the bottom part will now hang by the cable, and a 'inner core' will drop out, into the buckeT, replace the 'black block' back into the fuel inlet, releive the customer of lots of money.

Hi mate
Does your starter crank, than check if you have fuel in the tank, I'm not sure but your start error came from cranking the engine without fuel in the tank. Please check if there is fuel on the tank and also purge the low circuit pressure ( remove all the bubbles) and inform us later
Good luck

If your starter does not crank, underneath the drivers seat you have a relay, if no clicking while giving ignition change that relay and you will be ok

Yes, that will work

usually this is lost syncro between ecu and immo. readeing ecu and immo and syncronising them without touching the keys will solve the problem

For reading EEPROM I use following devices: ETS Smart, Triton.
For reading Motorola I use following devices: UPA USB (in cirkut), ETL Programmers (on board).

The relay under the seat is a cranking relay not an ignition relay, whitch means that it only pulls in when you go to the crank position with the key. An easy way to check your starter circit is to remove this relay and link terminal 30 and 87. Now go to crank position with the key and the engine will crank over. It will not start becuause the relay is removed , but it will prove the starter and wiring are good.
If your start error message has gone from the dash then you must have both power supplies to the wsp. If not you would have start error.
You need star diagnosis to read WSP actual values to see if CDI and WSP are personalised. Sounds like they are not!

Hope this helps
