Hi,

I already have a netgear MA111 dongle, is there any way to get this to work with the xbox 360, or is it not compatible? I also have the MR814v2 netgear wireless router.

Thanks

Sorry
The only USB WIFI adapter that will work on a 360 is the official MS one
The only other options are either use Ethernet to connect it directly to your router
Or buy a wireless network bridge connected to your 360 via Ethernet then the bridge wireless to your router

dont be daft, you think Microsoft would allow any wifi dongle to work that cost a feq quid where as they can rip you off with their official dongle for 50 quid.

I bought an TP-LINK Wireless Axcess Point for 20 Quid TP LINK TL-WA500G 54M eXtended Wireless Access Point on eBay (end time 19-Mar-10 00:36:30 GMT) (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-WA500G-54M-eXtended-Wireless-Access-Point_W0QQitemZ200440370976QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C omputing_Networking_SM?hash=item2eab2d5720) And it works brilliantly.

I can also rebroadcast the routers wirless signal around parts of the house previously not covered by Wifi, but as for the 360 its works a charm and I have my NDS feeding off it along with a Laptop.

This is not a Router its an Axcess point for those of you who do not know, all it does is make a connect Hardwired or Wifi connection and rebroadcasts it.
